… Danielle. Danielle is a petite young female of Italian descent (her last name literally means “miniskirt”) from northern New Jersey who currently lives under close scrutiny of the entire hallway of Paul 3 residence hall at Gettysburg College. She has been serving as a residential assistant on the third floor since late August 2008, and although she seldom admits it, she very much enjoys the more or less obvious expressions of infatuations from the side of her residents.
Danielle is a political science major who is also attempting to tackle the great questions in the only true social science — economics. The Board of Editors of this Publication unanimously concurs with her efforts and encourages her to continue. Unfortunately not all of her other voyages into the seas of learning have happy outcomes. During her recent battle with the Italian language, Danielle was overheard stating in deep frustration: “f*ck this language, I don’t understand it at all.” The magnitude of her not-understanding will be revealed during her tomorrow’s test that she is scheduled to take at 10.00.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys participating in various social activities including mocking Central and Eastern European accents (much to chagrin of unsuspecting victims), wreaking havoc with her creative approach to decorating her bulletin board, and throwing keys from the window late at night.

Danielle's 2007 endorsement of the Brazilian soccer team describes the level of her predilection for this South American country. Exploring native Brazilian rituals and traditions belongs among her favorite past-times.
She was also an avid supporter of the Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona, and agreed to enter into a non-binding agreement with one of her subordinates to potentially engage in activities prohibited by federal law to forget about projected outcomes of President-elect Obama’s proposed tax policies. As of writing of this article, Danielle was not available for comment on this decision.
Andy wishes Danielle the best of luck in her current and future endeavors and encourages her to further pursue her interests in Central and Eastern Europe.
